Originally from Australia, I have been based in Paris for a number of years and I try to spend as much time as possible immersing myself in everything this magical city has to offer. So where to eat the cheapest fast food?
As a freelance blogger and freelance writer, I may not be familiar with the secrets of Michelin-starred restaurants, but I know all the good food plans of the capital at your fingertips.

Restaurant Paris – Crepes
For vegetarian I am, pancakes are one of the best food plans in Paris.
For less than 10 €, you can sit in a charming creperie to enjoy one of the specificities that the whole world envies to France!
I threw myself on vanilla butter pancakes. At Lulu la Nantaise, I enjoyed every bite of their salted pancake with spinach, egg and goat cheese.
we do more in the classic, with their inevitable cheese and candied onions.
For an even more affordable option or cheapest fast f
The Druggist, in the Marais, as well as the creperies around Gare Montparnasse, is ideal for tasting the true flavor of Brittany.
Restaurant Paris – Mi-Va-Mi
Paris is full of very good falafels. Most Parisians would agree with me that the best falafels in Paris are all rue de Rosiers.
A merciless war takes place there between Fallafel Ace, Chez Hanna, King Falafel Palace, and MI-VA-MI, all of which are located just a few meters from each other in the Marais district.
As far as I’m concerned, I’m pretty much in the Fallafel As a team, but I have to admit they’re all great.
If you are looking for something a little chicer cheapest fast food, you can also find some very good Israeli street food in Miznon, where you can sit down and enjoy their food to die for.

3. Hot chocolate
To eat in Paris – Cafe Angelina
The French know how to appreciate a good hot chocolate, and in this area, it is difficult to dethrone Angelina.
So, yes, it’s certainly not the most affordable hot chocolate in Paris, but the first time I tasted their drink so thick and creamy, with just enough sugar, I spent rest of the day with a big smile.
Yes, their hot chocolate is delicious at this point. You can find Angelina in two places: in the Louvre, where there is often a queue, and at the take-out shop, Rive Gauche, where there is very little waiting.

4. Picnic with products from the market
Eat-in Paris cheapest fast food
Yes like most French people, Parisians like good food, so challenge accepted to eat for cheap in Paris.
That’s why shopping at the market is almost a national sport: we hunt the best vegetables, cheeses, meats and fruits, one by one, by consulting the seller or the seller about the origins of the product, the production methods, its taste, his age, etc.
Needless to say, therefore, that the range of choice in the Paris markets is incredible, and often cheaper than in supermarkets.
Do some research to find out which market is closest to you, or closest to the park where you want to picnic.
Check the days and opening hours and choose the best ingredients for cheap!
My favorites are the Market Aligre, for the best value for money, and the markets of Belleville, rue des Pyrénées, on Sunday for cheapest fast food near the Parc de Belleville and Buttes Chaumont.
To eat in Paris – Fondue
A little fondue or raclette, that tells you, no? It takes at least that to survive the winter in Paris!
Well to go soaking his bread in the rules of the art without thinking too much about the addition that will follow, do not hesitate to go to the Chalet Savoyard for fondue as we like, or to stay on a good dynamic, Fondues de la Raclette, to make you a good little raclette.
Most Filling Fast Food
To eat in Paris – Frenchie To Go
Paris is addicted to burgers, which I guarantee 100%, and that means that the city is full of great burgers.
From the classic burger that can be found in any Paris bistro to the most original recipes of the hottest spots, Paris has a burger for all tastes – and for
around 10 €, most of the time. The hipsters have a soft spot for Paris New York (vegetarians – or not – melt for their fried mushroom and cheeseburger), Blend, The Smoking Truck, and Frenchie To Go.
You also have the Big Fernand chain, inspired burgers regional specialties, and Le Ruisseau: the perfect place to enjoy an American-style classic.
So, if you’re hungry in Paris and want the cheapest fast food, look no further than the street-food bar for a burger!
To eat in Paris – Saravanaa Bhavan
I had the pleasure of accompanying a friend to Little India in Paris recently.
This friend had personally tested each Indian restaurant around the Gare du Nord, during his 8 years living in Paris.
Indeed, there is a small piece of India in Paris, full of authentic cheap Indian food.
This area is great if you are looking for something different, or you are vegetarian or vegan and you have a tight budget to keep.
Saravanaa Bhavan and Sangeetha are vegetarians’ dreams and Muniyandi Vilas offers incredible Sri Lankan dishes as well as great Indian dosas, but to be perfectly honest, you can simply wander through the neighborhood, smell the smells and let yourself be led in the restaurant that will make your mouth water.

To eat in Paris – udon and tofu
Paris also has a small Japanese neighborhood, all along the Rue Sainte-Anne, in the center of the city, nestled between iconic monuments such as the Madeleine or Opera Garnier.
Noodles, sushi, teppanyaki, with the bonus of some Korean restaurants …
The paradise of gourmets on a budget! My friends and I regularly go to Higuma for their Chinese and Japanese noodle soup, Kunitoraya when we want udon, and Aki for Japanese curry.
As at the Gare du Nord for Indian restaurants, do not hesitate to test the establishments that seem the most popular – no risk of disappointment, they are all excellent.
One tip though: arrive early (around 8 pm) and expect to wait a bit for a table in the most reputable restaurants on the street.
9. Street food markets
To eat in Paris – Street Food Markets
Whether you are looking for inexpensive food plans in Paris or elsewhere in the world, travelers and budget-conscious students are all keen on street food!
And since Paris is a destination preferred by travelers and is also a student city, the choice of street food is quite incredible!
Ground Control, one of the coolest restaurants in the city, with its outdoor stalls, offers a lot of choices!
The Marché des Enfants Rouges in the Marais also offers cheap food, with Moroccan tajines, burgers, sandwiches, and Japanese noodles.
The advantage (or disadvantage) of street food markets in Paris is that they are always places frequented by hipsters: a great opportunity to watch discretely while you eat lunch.
Eat-in Paris – CHEZ OMAR
Moroccan restaurants are not uncommon in Paris and can be found everywhere.
A tajine is thus a delicious, affordable and rather dietetic option: our choice is on those of Chez Omar, or those of the Zerda Café, the decor inspired by Morocco, with its mosaics on the ground and a quality menu!
The Moroccan Traiteur, which can be found at the covered market of the Enfants Rouges also serves delicious Moroccan food, in a more relaxed setting.

11. Ice cream
Eat-in Paris cheap – ice cream from Grom
If you need your dose of sugar to recover from your escapades, the best option is to go directly to the Saint-Louis Island, in the middle of the Seine.
Treat yourself to a takeaway cone in one of the Berthillon stalls, known as the best ice cream parlor in the capital.
You can also go to the source, Berthillon store, also located on the island. If you are more trendy Italian ice cream, then Pozetto, in the Marais, is for you. Grom, with its shop windows all over Paris, is also a very good choice.

12. African & Cocktails
Eating in Paris – Le Comptoir Général
The Comptoir General, near the hipster Canal Saint-Martin, in eastern Paris, is probably one of the most original bars in the world.
It is set amidst African artifacts and European antiques, in what appears to be an old greenhouse with a pirate ship as its bar.
Go on a Sunday to brunch, or any other day of the week to sample West African or Caribbean food.
13. Healthy fast food
To eat in Paris – Hank Vegan Pizza
Well, I’ll admit everything, my thing, food level is to find healthy versions of classic fast foods.
I regularly go to Bob’s Kitchen to eat a good dose of vegetables in their stew (at a very affordable price).
They also offer soups, bagels, fruit salads, and delicious buckwheat pancakes.
Hank Burger and Hank Pizza are also a great option for cheap dining in Paris, and I have to admit to eating there at least once a week just for their burgers and pizzas.
How to Save Money on Fast Food
Eating in Paris – Le Petit Cambodge
Le Petit Cambodge is the favorite spot for Cambodian food lovers in Paris, with its two restaurants near the Canal Saint-Martin.
They offer noodle soup, salads, and delicious curries accompanied by Cambodian or Vietnamese beer, all for a very affordable price.
Who said that cheap food should be fast food?
To eat in Paris – Bistrot Victoire
You’ve tried dishes from around the world and want to go back to basics, but for an affordable price?
Le Baratin, in eastern Paris, serves modern gourmet dishes for a reasonable price.
The Café de l’Industrie, with its traditional wooden bistro interior, offers classic French food with a touch of originality, while Chartier and Bistrot Victoire offer must-haves food essentials in an all-natural setting.
in fact charming, even for small budgets!
